Love these eccentric bottle gardens and especially with cobalt glass bottles. See the larger view in the previous photo, showing the fencing and bed frame, with this weathered wood post and bottles in context. Best viewed large for the contrast of texture and color. Definitely a "cobalt art moment", from December, 2006 in Chloride, Arizona. Other images of the folk art there are in the set.

Beautiful!! Are they usual in Arizona? (Manfred and I never came across any while we were "there"…)
They are actually found all over the US, but in Arizona they are more stark since there are so few bushy green plants and flowers. You usually find them in old fashioned gardens out in the Midwest or East in the US. There are several flickr members who have photos of their gardens online. I’ll see if I can get some links here to add.
